"Accents" Audition Day

Yesterday was an overwhelmingly successful audition day for "Accents." We interviewed more than 50 actors and actresses for the parts of Nigel, Neambri, Abir, Maria, Amresh, and Juan. The selection process will continue for the next week until we have our golden 6. It will not be easy, simply because there were so many talented individuals. We will be spending the next week reviewing the audition tapes. For me as a writer it is surreal to hear actors performing a script you've written and just knock it out of the park, which is what happened yesterday. Thank you to everyone who came out and auditioned. We really appreciated how professional and easy-going everyone was. There were some truly excellent performances. We love you Atlanta acting community! Can't wait to announce the names of our main cast! A special thank you to the JC Event Hall and the volunteers from the Fork Shop Filmmakers Workshop for their help.
